Double Primroses

Our strain of double primroses is the result of intensive work over a long period. The colour range is enormous and extends over the entire spectrum, many being edged, speckled or dusted with silver. Most are fragrant. On average, you can expect about 25% doubles out of a packet, but this is an average, and you could well get less. (Naturally, you could get more, but you are not so likely to complain about that.) Seed available in a mixture of colours only as the crop depends on the pollen we can find. Germination can be slow and sporadic. Cherish the slower-growing seedlings - these are more likely to bear double flowers. PLEASE NOTE: This strain is for gamblers only. We cannot guarantee how many doubles your packet of seed will produce. You may get more than your ''quota''. You may get none at all.
