Legendary Barnhaven primroses

The primrose family is huge – around 500 botanical species, then thousands of hybrids.  There are primroses for damp places, for drier spots, lots for your average plot and there are varieties in flower almost every month of the year. In the USA in the 1930’s Florence Bellis began her famous hybridising programme and 75 years on we are still producing seed that brings forth plants around the world that enchant and delight. From Wednesday 1 February our nursery IS OPEN every day except Mondays, 2.30 pm – 5.00 pm until the end of April.

Already a huge choice of hellebores in flower and many primrose varieties. Plant now and enjoy the whole flowering season.
